Art and Words from the Heart

"Why Sunsets Are Red" by Mui-Ling Teh

I have written poetry since an early age; and began delving into it more in 2008 after joining Redbubble. In 2010 I went through a dark period and lost my desire to follow my passion, but in 2011 I began to rekindle that passion. At the same I became more poetic and philosophical, hence from that time I began writing pieces that were more reflective. In 2012 I began writing musings and pieces of poetry in my iPhone when I could not sleep; which in turn often also translated to new art ideas. Occasionally, I still write poems based on past experiences (excluding my dark period), as well write new poetry to accompany old art works.

Why Sunsets Are Red

Could a smile be remembered, even after joy is gone?

On that day the earth shook the ground

One with the Earth

In mad rage I was blind - then you came and brought the light

Life is a Game

My time is already running late

A year went by in a single day
