Cherry blossom season is a remarkably beautiful spectacle. It is also very short lived. The cherry blossoms therefore remind us of the value of time and to cherish every moment. The Japanese expression 現世 (gensei) means to live in the now; a sentiment similar to Latin expression "Carpe Diem" (Seize the day).

Miniature Origami Ajisai / Hydrangea - (price varies)

The hydrangea, known as 'ajisai' in Japanese, consists of many small flowers, and the price of a requested hydrangea will depend on the complexity of the design. The more flowers there are, the great the price.

The miniature origami hydrangea pictured above would be priced at around $60. This was requested by a customer who said that a pink and white hydrangea means 'hope'.
